Charisma and the environment
At Charisma Design and Print we attach maximum importance to matters concerning the environment. Our policy is to meet and, where practical, exceed all relevant regulatory requirements and to minimize any adverse environmental effects caused as a result of our activities or products.
All paper used by us is now from sustainable sources or recycled.
All off-cuts and waste paper are sent for recycling.
In the past twelve months we have installed a processless plate-making system doing away with the need for any chemicals involved in the process of making printing plates.
All used printing plates are sent for recycling.
We will continually assess the environmental impact of our operations and, through minimizing the use of materials and resources, we will reduce our wastage to the lowest practical level in all operations and product development.
Products will be designed in such a way as to minimize their environmental effects in production, usage and disposal. We aim to promote recycling and the use of recycled materials, while reducing consumption of materials wherever possible. Consideration will always be given to the environmental effects of our raw materials sourcing and wherever possible we will use paper and cardboard from sustainable sources or recycled products.
